Join us for a Community Organizing Webinar

This workshop is an introductory training designed to give participants an overview of community organizing principles, procedures, and practices. The training is primarily targeted to prevention specialists who have, or will have, community organizing as a part of their job responsibilities, but limited training or experience in community organizing. This training will also offer participants a glimpse of s 5 P’s key strategies- the five key strategies that organizations & coalitions must use to be effective operation and impacting prevention strategies to their targeted population.
At the end of this session, participants will
- Describe community organizing principles, procedures, and policies
- Understand the Five Key P’ Participants for organizations & coalitions (Passion, Prestige, Presence, People, and Process)
- Discover tools to assess their organization’s effectiveness and make necessary adjustments if needed.
