Sustainability is one of the guiding principles of SAMHSA’s Strategic Prevention Framework. This 90-minute webinar will review the definition of sustainability and how planning for sustainability can impact the continued success of prevention work in a community. In addition to gaining an understanding of how to implement the Keys to Sustainability, participants will have the opportunity to apply the components of sustainability by working with colleagues to begin planning for sustainability in their communities.
Participants will be able to:
- Define sustainability
- Describe the rationale for sustaining the SPF process and prevention outcomes
- Illustrate ways of implementing the Keys to Sustainability into prevention work
- Identify and begin to apply the core components of sustainability planning
