This webinar will focus on the new landscape of tobacco products and the emergence of JUUL, the e-cigarette product that has become extremely popular among kids and young adults. The session will discuss how e-cigarettes work, what they look like and their nicotine content. The session will discuss the latest prevalence data among youth. The webinar will discuss the health risks, with an emphasis on nicotine. The presenter will share evidence-based school programs and tobacco treatment resources. The webinar will summarize steps that the FDA is taking to regulate JUUL and other e-cigarette products, as well as options for state and local governments to supplement and enhance federal regulation.
