- Open the ExcelPractice5JohnDoe spreadsheet.
- Select the Range A1:F6 by clicking on Cell A1, hold down the shift key, then click on Cell F6.
- On the Insert Tab, in the Charts group, click on the Insert Bar or Column Chart button, select the 2-D clustered column option.
- Click on the Chart Title. Delete the words Chart Title Key in Candy Bar Sales.
- Select the Range C2:F6 by clicking on Cell C2, hold down the shift key, then click on Cell F6.
- On the Home tab, in the Styles group, click on the Conditional Formatting button, select on the Highlight Cells Rules > Equal To option.
- In the Equal To text box, backspace the value listed. Key in a 0 value. Click on the OK button. All the 0 values in the range will have a light red fill and dark red text.
- Create a Pivot Table. On the Insert tab, in the tables group, click on the PivotTable button. Accept all the defaults setting by click OK.
- In the PivotTable Fields panel, select the Last Name, First Name, Day 1, and Day 2 options. Click the close button to close the panel.
- Click on the file tab, click the Save As option, select a location to save you file, change the filename to ExcelPractice5FirstNameLastName (replace your FirstNameLastName with your name).
